The Inter-class Bulletin Board Design Competition for the first term has come to an end. Prizes were presented to the winning classes in the morning assembly on 17th November.

S. U. Halloween Party

A horrifying and exciting Halloween party was held by the student Union, Synergy, on 1 Nov 2008 (Sat). The party is very popular. There were nearly 200 student participants and helpers in the party. The committee member of Synergy have tried their best to make it a success. As most students enjoyed the party, they gave encouraging comments to it.

Graduation Class Soccer Competition 2008-2009

The graduation class soccer competition was held from 13 oct to 24 Oct during lunch time. It is always a popular even for all students. During this period, more than a hundred students gathered around the tennis court to enjoy the game. Beside the graduation classes, teachers and alumni were also invited to take part in the game. If you watched the game, you would certainly wonder the football skills of our students.

Diversified Visual Arts Teacher Programmes - Session 2: The Creation of the Dance Drama “Qingming Riverside”

The second session was conducted by our school board manager, Mr. Gerard TSANG Chu-chiu, former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, playwright, on The Creation of the Dance Drama “Qingming Riverside”.

Diversified Visual Arts Teacher Programmes - Session 1: Comic and Creativity

This year, 2008-2009, Jockey Club Ti-I College and the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence Teachers Association (ATETA) co-organize a series of diversified Visual Arts Teacher Programmes, aiming at promoting arts education to primary and secondary schools.

Cookie Selling Day

The Cookie Selling Day was held successfully during lunchtime on 16th October, 2008. All the cookies were sold out and the money collected will be donated to Haven of Hope Christian Service (基督教靈實協會) to help those elderly who are in need.

Student Union Election

The Student Union Election has been held on the 13th of October. The voting procedures were satisfactorily completed on that day. Over 50% of our students have exercised their right to vote. Our candidate party, Synergy, has won the majority to preside the Student Union Office.

ART FOR WEAR! Most people have an incontrovertible belief that jewelry design is the profession of an adult designer. To them, it might seem inconceivable that secondary students around 14 to 15 years old could have the creativity and conceptual knowledge to design something both artistic and functional that is jewelry itself.

An Exhibition of Secondary School Students’ Creative Visual Arts Work (2007-2008) was held by the Arts Education Section of the Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau from 23 February 2008 at the Education Bureau Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre.

Cross-curricular Field Trip to Panyu, Pearl River Delta, 9th May 2008

A group of F.6 students visited Panyu with Miss Yeung Pui San, Lucia and Mr. Ng Chi Lam on 9-5-2008. The focus of the visit was on sustainability in China. They visited a large-scale farm as well as a huge toy factory in Panyu.

In the celebration of the 2008 Equestrian event in the Shatin District, our school is proud and privileged to partner with Tsang Pik Shan Secondary School to launch the 2008 Olympics Equestrian Mural Production.

Hong Kong in a Box High School Campaign 2008

A group of F.6 Visual Arts and Liberal Studies students joined a high school campaign ‘Glocalization Project-Hong Kong in a Box’ organized by AIESEC-LC-CUHK. They attended a series of courses on ‘Glocalization’ and installation art, and designed two boxes on the topic of Hong Kong culture. Their designs won the 1st runner-up in the campaign and were exhibited on 13th April 2008 at the Olympian City.

F.7 High Table Lunch

On March 5th, 2008, the Jockey Club Ti-I College F.7 High Table Lunch 2007- 2008 was held successfully at the school hall. It is an annual event, held just before the F.7’s study leave, which provides an opportunity for teachers and students to spend some time together as well as inviting a special guest to share his or her valuable experiences with the students.
