Our F.5 students embarked on the F.5 Grand Tour, traveling to Okinawa, Japan from April 13 to 17, 2025. This journey was a unique blend of adventure-based activities, biodiversity experiences and meaningful social service.
Throughout the tour, students engaged in a variety of adventure-based experiences. They tackled an exciting forest adventure course that encouraged personal breakthroughs. In the rice fields, students enjoyed group games that fostered teamwork among classmates. Students were also immersed in Okinawa's natural beauty while learning more about its ecological importance through mangrove kayaking. Additionally, they visited the renowned Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which provided insights into marine life and further enhanced their understanding of biodiversity in Okinawa.
In addition to these exciting adventures and biodiversity experiences, students dedicated time to volunteering, participating in field clean-up initiatives that supported sustainable farming practices. This hands-on experience benefited the local community and instilled a sense of responsibility and global citizenship among our students.
The F.5 Grand Tour created collective memories for both students and teachers as well as provided an opportunity for students to gain cultural awareness. It is believed that our students will carry the lessons learned and experiences from this trip into their future endeavors. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this tour a remarkable success!
