Our F6 VA major students had an incredible experience exploring the new show drawn from the M+ Sigg Collection, which traces the emotional landscapes of contemporary Chinese art, reflecting how artists navigated rapid transformation between the 1990s and 2010s.

Thanks to Ms. Michelle Lee, our alumus and the docent of the guilded tour, our students had the opportunity to get up close with the works of contemporary Chinese artists. The exhibition, which includes painting, photography, installation, and moving images, explores themes of solitude, memory, anxiety, and ambiguity. Through the Emotional Themes in the Sigg Collection, our students gained a deeper understanding of the impact of China’s rapid globalization and economic growth on people's mindsets and values.
