HKAPA 40th Anniversary Musical "What the Buddha Said" Premiere.

Our students watched the premiere of the musical What the Buddha Said, which celebrated The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA) 40th anniversary. Inspired by the classic Chinese epic Journey to the West, the production depicts the pilgrimage of five travelers overcoming eighty-one trials to attain sacred scriptures. Through this musical, students realize that growth is never effortless, and as the saying goes, "One minute on stage takes ten years of practice offstage." The diverse team of pilgrims—each with flaws yet united by purpose—models how collaboration and mutual support elevate individual growth within a school.
