Leadership Training Camp 2025

On June 30 to July 1, 2025, 23 future leaders participated in a leadership training camp at the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong - Y's Men - YMCA Wong Yi Chau Youth Camp, funded by the Jockey Club Campsite+ Re-imagination Project.

The camp started with an exciting hands-on activity where leaders collaborated to construct a Roman Catapult, fostering teamwork and communication among leaders. The excitement peaked when they tested their catapults in a thrilling water-ball fight, followed by a delightful barbecue dinner. During the dinner, leaders shared their thoughts and led participants to reflect on the activity. It encouraged our young learners to connect their experiences and lessons learned with their leadership roles.
On the second day, the camp continued with two specially designed problem-solving games. Leaders faced various challenges that required them to communicate and think critically, further reinforcing the skills required by effective leaders.

We hope that the lessons learned during this camp will empower our young leaders to apply their skills and serve the school in the upcoming year.
