The Student Support and Guidance Team is delighted to report the resounding success of our two-day wellness initiative, "Bad Mood Day," held under this year's creative theme, 抗蕉蕉.
The core purpose of this event was to promote mental health by teaching students to embrace their emotions—even bad moods—as a natural part of wellness, providing practical tools and a supportive environment for recognizing and managing these feelings.
The activity kicked off on Day 1 by distributing bananas to students, leveraging their natural stress-relieving properties to encourage a good start to the week. The main event on Day 2 was a vibrant celebration of support, featuring multiple engaging booths. A highlight was the collaboration with our parents (PTA), who prepared 800 delicious snacks, including popular treats like strawberry chocolate and bubble milk tea, creating a festive atmosphere.
Furthermore, we collaborated with Caritas social workers to train parents as "Bad Day Baristas," who then hosted a "Bad Day Cafe" booth, where students learned practical skills for recognizing their emotions and gained essential tips on how to constructively handle them effectively.
Completing the supportive environment, our Social Workers, GSS Teachers, and Peer Counselors hosted various interactive game booths, ensuring every student had an opportunity to connect and find healthy ways to express themselves. "Bad Mood Day" successfully reinforced our school's commitment to prioritizing the emotional health and well-being of our students, providing both fun and essential coping strategies for managing daily life.
