Eco-week
2026-03-26

We are so proud to share the massive success of our inaugural Eco-Week! For the first time ever, our Geography & Citizenship & Social Development Departments teamed up with the Green Club and Resources Committee to bring environmental education to life and explore the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) together.

Our students stepped out of their regular routines to become true stewards of the environment. Here is a look back at our action-packed week:

1. Going Green: Hands-on recycling with The Mill mobile recycling truck and a talk by Green@Shatin.
2. Smart Energy: A fascinating "Campus Engineer" power talk brought to us by CLP.
3. Field Learning: A hands-on Geography field trip to a local organic farm.
4. Inspiring Cinema: A movie appreciation session of "Never Too Late" (《早鳥》), made extra special by a sharing from our amazing alumna, Ms. Hidy Yu (Founder of the Bling Bling Ocean Foundation).
5. Social Empathy: Our F.2 Friday Function focused on SDG 1 (No Poverty) with a deep dive into the pressing issue of "Elderly Poverty."

A huge thank you to all the students, staff, and special guests who made this week so meaningful. Let’s keep this green momentum going and continue working together for a sustainable future!
